Hello amazing neighbors, the Raleigh Department of Transportation just sent out a REMINDER for the 2nd and FINAL LEAF COLLECTION, scheduled for Monday, February 17th.

Per their guidance:

Please note: weather will impact the speed at which crews can collect leaves. Wet weather significantly hinders collection efforts.

Leaves only! No other yard waste or trash in your leaf piles.

Do not rake or blow leaves into the street. Not only are leaf piles in the street dangerous to motorists and cyclists – they block storm drains and cause flooding. Place leaves in your yard, typically in the area between the curb and sidewalk, but no more than six feet from the edge of the pavement.
